Paris native Kitty is trying to change the world from her bedroom.
Beginning her journey in 2016, Kitty’s debut single Monaco earned her a small but dedicated cult-like following. She has since gone on to self-release her EP Bedroom Pop, an ode to the DIY musician entirely produced, written and recorded from a bedroom. In 2020, she finally set free her highly anticipated debut album The Dark Age about "decadence, darkness and how to find hope where the light leaks".
Amassing over 182 000 streams, she has received fierce support from BBC Introducing, describing her sound as unique, exciting and instantly recognisable. Her sound is a hybrid of Alt-Pop and Electronic music with hints of Orchestral drama and Hip Hop but she often refers to her music as "Dark Pop with a message". Her sultry voice and unique lyrics have earned her comparisons to Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Melanie Martinez and Halsey.
