Asked about the EP, Alex enthuses, ‘I can’t wait to share the EP with everybody! It’s a collection of songs that I’m really proud of and it’s a good reflection of where the band and I are at right now.’
Recorded and mixed between Pirate studios, London, and RML studio’s, Wolverhampton, Ohm reflects, ‘I feel these tracks give a good representation of our live sound. They all have their own identity but come together to make a really well-balanced body of work.’

North Parade are an indie band formed in Birmingham in 2017. Despite now basing themselves in London, they have regularly played headline gigs in Birmingham and Oxford and have had various radio plays on BBC Introducing Oxford and West Midlands. In many ways, all of these places are considered as home.
Since releasing their debut single ‘Birmingham’ in 2019 which was described as “an instant indie classic” by Radio X’s John Kennedy, they’ve gone on to release two more singles. Their second single, ‘Kind Of’, received BBC Radio 6 airtime from Tom Robinson, while their latest song ‘Keepthingscasual’ arrived with their debut music video directed and shot by the legendary Roger Sargent (The Libertines, Suede, Fat White Family).
They are now in the process of releasing songs from their debut EP ‘How To Be Good’ while continuing to gig around the country.
